The fourth annual Excellence in Energy Awards are approaching

NRG is pleased to announce the continued tradition of recognizing merit and innovation with the return of our Excellence in Energy Awards for the fourth straight year. The awards are a way to recognize our customers who lead by example in their businesses and communities. With many inspiring submissions over the past years, we look forward to this year’s entries and spotlighting new milestones and accomplishments for your organizations.

The Excellence in Energy Awards recognizes NRG Business customers who demonstrate a strong commitment to the planning and achievement of their environmental and community goals in the following categories:

• Community – how has your organization led the way in your community with philanthropy and volunteering?
• Sustainability – how has your organization reduced your carbon footprint for a greener future?
• Energy Efficiency – how has your organization streamlined or upgraded your operations to reduce costs and environmental impact?

Did your business demonstrate the values of community, sustainability, or efficiency this year? Tell us all about it!

Beginning July 12, 2023, all business customers with NRG, Direct Energy Business, Green Mountain Energy, Cirro Energy, and Reliant Energy, their brokers, or NRG account managers can submit nominations for this year’s Excellence in Energy Awards.  Eligible candidates must be an NRG business customer with an active demand response, electricity, or natural gas contract with one of our suppliers as listed above. NRG energy efficiency and sustainability customers are also eligible for consideration.  

Make sure to submit nominations early – the entry window closes on August 31, 2023.
