Let’s Celebrate: It’s Almost Time for the 5th Annual Excellence in Energy Awards

NRG is proud to announce the return of our Excellence in Energy Awards for an exciting fifth year. These awards are more than mere accolades; they are a testament to the forward-thinking leadership and innovation our customers demonstrate daily, enhancing their communities today and shaping the broader energy landscape of tomorrow.

Each year, the caliber and range of the projects submitted by the applicants astounds us, and we look forward to seeing how this year’s participants are setting new standards in the award categories.

Customers may submit nominations highlighting demonstrable excellence in the following categories:

• Community – how has your business empowered and uplifted your local community through philanthropy and volunteering?
• Sustainability – what initiatives has your business implemented to make your operations and facility more sustainable?
• Energy Efficiency – how has your business streamlined or upgraded your operations to lower energy costs and environmental impact, reducing your overall carbon footprint?

We’re so happy to turn the spotlight on you! Your hard work deserves recognition, and this is your opportunity to showcase the initiatives you’re proud of and the future plans that excite you. Together, we empower and inspire one another as we strive toward a brigher, more sustainable future. So, take a moment to brag and tell us all about it!

The submission window opens on July 15 and nominations are open to all NRG Business and Direct Energy Business customers, as well as Green Mountain Energy, Cirro Energy, and Reliant Energy business customers. Energy brokers and account executives are also encouraged to submit on behalf of their eligible clients. But don’t delay – the entry window closes on August 31.
