Director, EV and Commercial Development

Danita is driving EV adoption at NRG and enabling EV adoption for NRG’s customers. With 20 years of energy industry experience, she works across functional teams to provide insight and guidance to customers seeking new solutions to meet their sustainable and electrification goals. Previously, Danita was the Director of Asset Management in the NRG East Region, responsible for the economic performance of nearly 7,000 MW of electric generating facilities in New York, New England, and New Jersey. Before joining NRG, she held wholesale commodity roles at Dynegy and Calpine.

Always curious and passionate about learning, she holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary, Canada.
