Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, NRG Energy, Inc.

Dak leads NRG’s enterprise strategy and technology agendas, aligning long term growth priorities with enterprise innovation, and scaled digital and AI transformation to drive business performance.

Dak’s teams drive the expansion of NRG’s technology, data, and analytics capabilities across the enterprise, translating strategic priorities into execution across the value-chain from retail to generation through advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital platforms. He also oversees corporate strategy, enterprise innovation and NRG’s corporate venture capital arm, to identify, invest in, and scale emerging technologies that support long term growth.

Dak joined NRG from Hilton Worldwide, where he served as Chief Data & Analytics Officer, driving innovation, building the organization’s Data & Analytics group, and supporting enterprise strategy through analytics led decision making. Further, he implemented data science and analytics-led initiatives focused on revenue management, marketing optimization, personalization, and forecasting. Prior to his time at Hilton, Dak was Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Catalina Marketing.

Dak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing Information Systems from Birmingham City University in England.
