Alyssa Rubin is Senior Director of Regional Natural Gas Operations at NRG Energy. In her role, she is responsible for retail pricing and the delivery of natural gas to commercial, industrial, small business and residential customers across North America. Alyssa leads a team that has deep technical expertise in partnering with over 100 utilities in the US and Canada to ensure reliable, competitively priced natural gas supply to the utility city gates on behalf of NRG’s customers.

During her more than 20 years in the energy industry, Alyssa has held a variety of roles in regulatory affairs, operations, process excellence, and marketing for Hess Corporation followed by Direct Energy. Prior to joining Hess, Alyssa was Executive Director of the NJ Board of Public Utilities. Alyssa also served as Policy Advisor to NJ Governor Christine Todd Whitman.

Alyssa holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and French from the State University of New York at Binghamton, a Master of Science in Public Policy from the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University, and a Master of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at NYU.
