President of NRG

Robert Gaudette is the President of NRG. He manages the largest B2B retail gas and power platform and one of the largest providers of demand response in North America. He oversees the company’s broad portfolio of commercial and industrial products and services as well as its market operations, including gas trading, power trading, origination, commercial analytics, and real-time operations. He also leads all of NRG’s power generation, including plant operations, asset management, development, engineering, and construction.

Gaudette and his team manage supply and optimization in support of teams across NRG and utilize its commercial and market expertise to help regional and national customers manage their energy strategy and manage customer relationships from acquisition through execution and retention. Partnering with customers, Gaudette and his team increase efficiencies, reduce costs, and manage risks—creating a more sustainable, resilient, affordable, and empowering energy ecosystem for NRG customers.

Account Executive, NRG Business Sales; West Region

Adam has been with NRG for six years, leveraging his Industrial Engineering and Economics degrees to navigate the dynamics of an ever-changing and competitive market. His fascination with economics led him to the energy industry, where he applies the concepts he learned in school in real-time. He now focuses on California power and gas sales, guiding customers as they manage their energy budgets and finding solutions to meet their energy goals. Nothing thrills him more than when his customers realize savings from the custom strategies they built together. Adam is based out of Pittsburgh, where he enjoys a good run, trying new restaurants in the ‘Burgh’s food scene, and cheering for the Pitt Panthers with his dachshund buddy, Nash.
