Supporting our sustainability efforts
Embracing sustainability has meant reimagining our organization and the future of energy. This strategic journey did not occur overnight. Rather, it’s the byproduct of a diverse board, large customer base, and involved stakeholder groups joining forces to forge a sustainable path forward. Drawing on the expertise of these groups, NRG has met significant milestones and achieved great success thus far. With 12 years under our belt, we look to the future with excitement as we continue to plot our course.
Our strategic sustainability lens
Sustainability is complex and it will take a village to help us reach the goals we have outlined for ourselves. From climate technology investment and development to sustainability reporting and disclosure, our path to net-zero requires expert collaboration.
A simple list of the many included in our journey could not encapsulate their roles, nor the ways we collaborate. Instead, we have chosen to illustrate the matrix, highlighting those who are key to our success.
Our conversations around sustainability are often focused on results and progress. While results are a key focus of our efforts, it is important to also highlight the importance of collaboration as we continue solving complex problems such as climate change and successful decarbonization.
