For Stephen Girard, helping customers and partners grow their business by assisting them to ably navigate the ever-changing energy sector is both his biggest inspiration, and his favorite daily challenge. With nearly 20 years’ experience in the energy industry, moving through roles in credit risk, financial planning & advising, pricing, general manager of DEB’s Small Business division, customer experience/care, and billing/back office, he has a profound understanding of all the moving parts that make an energy company successful in supporting their customers’ goals. Stephen holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Penn State, and an MBA in international business from Pitt, and remains true to those Pennsylvania roots to this day, residing in Pittsburgh with wife Jeannine and son Ben. He enjoys family trips to Italy, and can frequently be found cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams, and his alma mater Nittany Lions.
