Salvatore “Sal” Pollastro began his career with NRG as a pricing analyst, specializing in the PJM region. His academic background includes an undergraduate degree in energy, business and finance, complemented by a graduate degree in applied economics, providing him with a solid foundation for the energy industry. His focus is to provide value to customers through practical, actionable insights delivered via regular strategy calls and market updates. He enjoys the challenge of staying on top of market trends so he can advise cogently on each market region, and gaining customers’ trust so they can collaboratively customize strategy. Based out of Pittsburgh, Sal is passionate about the Steelers, and enjoys staying active through endurance sports and tennis. True to his family roots, he also appreciates classic Italian cuisine.
